Vehicle storage
Dry, alarmed, camera-covered storage for cars that are not being driven this month. Started, moved and looked over on a schedule.
A car that is not being driven still needs looking after. Ours is a single secure unit, kept dry and warm, with the cars started and moved on a schedule rather than left to sit.
The building
- Alarmed unit with monitored CCTV covering every bay, recorded and retained.
- Access controlled and key-held. Nobody wanders in.
- Fully enclosed and dry. No shared yard, no outdoor overflow.
- Fire detection throughout, with extinguishers to hand.
The atmosphere
Damp is what actually destroys a stored car: it rusts the shell from inside, mildews the trim and seizes the brakes. The unit runs dehumidifiers year round and is heated through the winter, so the air around your car stays somewhere sensible instead of following the weather.
The care
- Started and moved fortnightly, so the tyres do not flat-spot and the seals stay wet.
- Battery kept on a conditioner, not a trickle charger left to boil.
- Tyre pressures checked monthly and set for storage.
- Fluid levels and leaks checked on every visit, and you are told what we find.
- Covered with a breathable cover, never plastic sheeting.
Coming and going
Give us reasonable notice and your car will be out, warm and ready when you arrive. If you want it delivered to you instead, or collected at the end of the season, we can arrange that. Minimum stay is one month and there is no long tie-in after it.
Covered by insurance
Cars are held under our own storage cover while they are with us. You are welcome to see the certificate before you commit, and we would encourage you to ask, of us and of anyone else you are considering.
