August 2020 — Initial inspection

A detailed inspection of the Volvo began, covering the Bertone-built bodywork, underside, 2.7-litre V6 drivetrain, braking system, suspension and interior. The condition of original components was documented before deciding which areas required restoration and which could be preserved.
